At the end of last month, we received a commission from a customer in the north to develop a replacement product.
In fact, customization of this series of replacement encoders is done all the time. The only difference between this customer's model and the previous one is that the bore size is different. It's the same bore size as a replacement we did a month ago. The size is 1 1/8 inches.

With the physical pictures, it is easy to see that the alternatives for this model are almost 1:1. there is no difference in application.
There have been inquiries on oil winches off and on for the past few years, most of which have been sporadic orders. I do not know what the situation, the domestic market is a shortage of the product. It may be that the market demand is too small, the whole country can not sell a few units a year. After all, the number of winches in that put it.
Although we continue to receive commissioned customized orders, they are very small quantities. Therefore, only non-standard forms can be used to provide solutions. The total amount of demand is too small to be mass-produced at all, so there is no stock in most cases when people inquire.
Originally, this product was a problem solver to help people do that. But we wouldn't have gone to so much trouble to do it if we could have sourced it. It's a value-added service. During the epidemic, the beginning of this series of products are not easy to purchase, and then it is slowly extended the delivery time. Many of our domestic projects simply can not wait for the delivery of 6-8 months.
Subsequently, an oil company commissioned us to develop this incomplete replacement and this 1:1 replacement version became available on the market. We should thank this oil company for their efforts and contributions.
Our aim is to help solve only encoder problems as much as possible. Especially for some discontinued models, it is impossible to purchase spare parts. In this case, we do our best to improve the solution.

If it is a very old model, provide a manual if you have one. Quite a few customers have inquired about models from 20 years ago, and if we can't find the manual to do it, it's more difficult.
