This consulting client was in a hurry because it had participated in a tender and was asked to deliver the goods within 10 days. The customer's supplier indicated that the delivery could not be completed within this period. Imported products are almost impossible to complete this delivery, time is too tight.
It's also strange that the delivery time for imported encoders in the Chinese market has been extended over the past few years. We don't have the experience to look into the reasons for this, we can only do well back to ourselves.
The alternative solution for this product is very simple. We have our own product with the same parameters for direct replacement. This is a Profinet communication protocolAbsolute EncoderThe draw size is 15mm and the resolution is 4096*8192. These are regular parameters for us.
We have a corresponding standard product that can completely replace this encoder. All parameters are 1:1 and there is no need to make any changes to the program.
In this case, we can complete delivery in as little as one day. Often we have expedited customers and we help to realize same day production and same day delivery. As long as there are no more than 100 units, most of them can be completed in one day.
There's not much to explain about this product, it's a direct replacement. Of course, there is a prerequisite here: your technician should be able to replace the new GSD file. This is a very important condition, although it is a basic operation I still need to remind.
