0568184: Alternative to AC58/1212/EQ.72OLD encoders
We recently received a customized inquiry from a customer for model number0568184. This is actually a HENGSTLER encoder product with the final model number AC58/1212/EQ.72OLD.
This is one of the more unusual encoder products, mainly in terms of mounting dimensions, a square flange encoder. The customer has a batch of 16 encoders to replace. This is a maintenance customer with a tight lead time of 10 days. The final hope was to shorten the lead time with a customized replacement solution.
In fact, HENGSTLER products we have come up with a lot of alternative solutions. Especially the AC58 series of products do more, there are mature solutions.
This is a CANopen communication protocol product with a resolution of 4096*4096. 10mm solid shaft, 58mm outer diameter. The only special thing is the square flange, as long as this is solved all the problems will be solved.
We mapped the flanges by actual dimensions and produced them by machining centers. The process was fully completed in only three days and then assembled with the existing solution we solved.
It took us a total of 4 days to deliver these 16 products.
It is easiest to customize alternatives for the 58 series. Most address flange issues and some address communication protocols. The customized mechanical changes for these products are smaller and the completion time is much shorter.
