CAMS581212EK42SBB, is an absolute encoder, commonly used in mining excavators and other applications. This is a customer inquiry received last week, needing an alternative solution to save the day.
The customer reported that this encoder has been discontinued for a long time, and the spare parts are not available in China. The customer urgently needed 15 sets of spare parts to maintain the equipment, so they came to us for an alternative solution.
This alternative to the encoder is easy to realize and not too complicated for us. We have a complete solution for the electrical part, which is a binary version of the SSI communication protocol. The resolution is the usual 4096*4096.
We had delivery in three business days, which was pretty smooth.
Mainly the original encoder itself is a conventional encoder products, just this series discontinued. Similar products many brands have production, just customers do not understand the parameters will go to match the selection.
