CEV65M-10261: This is an Ethernet absolute encoder from TR, which is a bit old, the data shows a 2008 model.
Today, an inquiry was received from a customer requesting a replacement for thisEthernet Encoder. In fact, there are other brands of encoders on the market with the same parameters. However, the customer asked me to help with the replacement.
This is a 65mm clamping flange, in practice a 58mm clamping flange would be a complete replacement. 36mm tab, 10mm solid shaft. This is a conventional encoder size.
It should be noted that this is an absolute encoder for the Ethernet protocol, with a resolution of 8192*4096.Otherwise, there is nothing special about it.
We give two alternative solutions: one is to reproduce the same 65mm clamping flange, and the other is to use the 58mm clamping flange directly. Both of these can be realized as substitutions.

For the internal circuit parameters, we have a perfectly matched circuit design that complies with the Ethernet protocol. That's right, just like that it seems very simple to solve the substitution problem.
In other words, we have realized alternative applications with 58mm encoders.
Just, many friends do not understand the parameter interchangeability between absolute encoders. This leads to not being able to choose the correct encoder product. The only thing to note here is that the operator is required to know how to replace the EDS file. This is a minimum requirement.
Well, this product substitution is solved.
If you are more versed in applying encoders, you can just use the 58mm series instead. If you insist on the 65mm series, that's fine, I can just re-produce a piece of the clamping flange via a machining center.
That's all you need to know about this CEV65M-10261 today. Feel free to email if you need it.
