FG4K-1200G-90G-NG, alternative solution for heavy duty encoders in the metallurgical industry Notes

Just a few days ago, an article on the old FG4K-1000G-90G-NG was posted. Recently another customer inquired about a replacement for the FG4K-1200G-90G-NG. In fact, these two are basically the same product, just with a different number of pulses.

This time the customer is a steel mill that urgently needs spare parts to solve its problems. It encountered delivery problems in procurement, and entrusted us to process alternative products on behalf of the customer on the advice of its technicians.

The replacement program for this product is still relatively easy to solve, after all, we have already done a lot of similar products before. We use the previous development basis to produce the corresponding aluminum alloy structural parts can be, the circuit part needs our technicians to adjust, set the pulse to 1200ppr. This can be a perfect replacement.

The commissioning of this customization went very smoothly, and the machining center equipment stored the previous development data, which could be directly imported for production. From commissioning to delivery took a total of 6 working days, shortening the lead time to the extreme. Of course, not all commissions are so tight. This time, the customer was in a hurry.

One more thing, the main part of the encoder on this FG4K-1200G-90G-NG is a B10 Euro flange. Then there is the pulse 1200 ppr. The other parts are kind of simple for us and don't seem to need to be spelled out. We've done it so many times that it's not surprising that sometimes it seems to be a "stretch" when writing an article.

Our commissions for this type of encoder are basically centered on solving problems. After all, there are not many orders for this type of encoder, just three or five at a time. Our aim is such that we can only be approached to do our best to help solve the problem.

As you can see, such a small amount of non-standard products is not our profitable products. Large quantities of standard products are our main products. But it doesn't matter, as long as there is a need we are still happy to help.
